The Words Of Larance Ramesh Maharaj

Extracts From A Speech Delivered at the NDP 29th Annual Convention in Kingstown on

KINGSTON, St Vincent: Larance Ramesh Maharaj, former Attorney General of Trinidad and Tobago on Sunday said that Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Dr. Ralph Gonsalves is one of some Caribbean Prime Ministers, who in recent times have shown signs of becoming dictators.

“As a matter of fact, I have a duty to tell you this. Whenever a Prime Minister decides to tell his people that whatever you do in the court … I go give you hell, that’s the sign of a dictator….”

He said that some Prime Ministers take away people’s land without proper compensation and without any regard for the decisions of the court of law. According to him, Papa Doc used to do that - a clear sign of dictatorship - that is probably galloping in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Making reference to the constitution of SVG, Maharaj noted that it clearly states that citizens desire that the society will be so ordered as to recognize the principles of democracy, free institutions, and social justice and equality for all.

Elaborating on the manner in which some Caribbean Prime Minister publicly abuse members of civil society who oppose them, including the media and non governmental bodies, Maharaj spoke of a number of incidents involving the prime minister of SVG.

“… in my research, I heard that your Prime Minister called people ‘chattering nabobs in bars’ because people criticize him.

“I understand, too, your Prime Minister didn’t like what the people were saying how he stuck his middle finger up, and he said in answer to you the people … he has a perfect middle finger.

“I heard when members of the media and other people criticize him, although that might be on a few occasions, he said that is learned helplessness. He said when the NGOs stood up to prevent him from giving what they said was the Tobago Cays to what they alleged were friends, he said that they were dishonest, liars, and terrorists…”

“So, what Dictators do, some of them start to call themselves ‘Papa’…” Maraaj said echoing the word “Pap” used by Prime Minister Gonsalves when referring to persons involved in the Ottley Hall Inquiry who had taken members of the commission to court.

Is Ralph Gonsalves Buying Our Youths Loyalty and their Freedom?

Faces of Oppression, modern day totalitairians. The teacher and his student

Once again, My Prime Minister, the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Ralph E. Gonsalves has demonstrated to the nation, the region, and the entire world that he is a man who has lost his influence, is without feasible plans and relevant political ideas. Once again by his action he has shown to all the size of his mentality and the level of his integrity, when he used the state funds to buy the favor, love and affection of the people. In his weaken state, he spared no effort to feeding the greed of the greedy, those whose loyalty has a price; he used the state money to manipulating the poverty of the poor, those among us whose best effort never pays off; and he introduced our youths to free money in order to prey on their naivety, in his attempt to make the youths of the nation mental slaves. In other words; Gonsalves is squandering the resources of the state, so he can continue to have his own way with the people and their finances; he is playing the game of give them a little to keep them hoping you will give them more.

So on the grand occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of national independence, when Ralph as the nation’s leader, should have embraced his role as setter of positive trends and chief role model, he once again forfeit the opportunity to demonstrated what it meant to have and exhibit national pride. The Prime Minister could have taken this opportunity to instilling in our youths that sense of Pride while, inspired our them to ask not what their country can do for them but what they can and are willing to do for their country. However, when he announced that he is going to give every school child two hundred dollars; the Prime Minister only give to our youths a fish and only succeeded in satisfy their hunger or feeding them for a day.

In doing so, he planted and provided nutrients to the seeds, which could creating within the nation's youths, a nagging psychological dependence, a dependency which may germinate into the “get something for nothing attitude.” The same attitude that have caused many of our people to be robbing, killing and indulging in many other criminal activities, the same attitude that is responsible for the laziness that is now spreading though out the country and is responsible for the low level of productivity that we have been experiencing for some time now.

Give a man a fish and you will feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and you will feeds him for a life time. This sentence deal with the investment we make in others daily, Should Government give the youths two hundred dollars which they will gladly take and satisfy their spending needs for a short time with no rational objective in mind. Did Ralph gift succeeded in feeding our youths for a life time? From his action, does Ralph appear to care about the youth's future? What national or long term objective did Ralph had in mind when he give away the money? Couldn't Ralph find a more feasible method of using that money, that would have better serve the long term and future needs of the youths? This is what leaders do; they invest in their people future; they use the state’s resources to make the people more productive and independent citizens. Ralph is aware that productive and independent citizens always develop confident and seek ways to apply their intelligence. There is something about productivity that carries with it confidence, independence, intelligence and innovation. It is no secret; that confidence, intelligent and innovative people have to be governed intelligently.

Did Ralph Gonsalves give any just or intelligent reason for the way he use the people's resources? Did he say where the money came from or where the money will come from? Was this gift a decision of cabinet?

Anyone with a good knowledge of Ralph Gonsalves’ behavior can answer the above questions with a high level of accuracy. What was the intent behind this sudden and unexpected gift? Is Ralph trying to buy himself the loyalty of the youths, while purchasing himself some yes votes and on a larger scale a piece of the future? Although that may be true, Ralph is more occupy in living out the inhibited desires of his fore parents: the Portuguese. I truly believe that a person heritage never really leaves him or her but circumstances may prevent or inhibits that person from living out their natural desires and the real intent of their heart.

I am of the opinion that Ralph Gonsalves like his forefather Aniam Concalvez, (pay attention to the last name as well as the amount to letters and the pronunciation of the name) the man who in 1414 began the export trade of African slaves; is hell bent in making Vincentian his slaves. The primary principle that is employed in making a person a slave is to rob him of his independence, self-respect and self-reliance. Although most people will not willingly give up their independence, self-respect and their self-reliance they can be tricked or cultured into doing so.

Ralph Gonsalves is bent on tricking as well as culturing our youths into voluntarily becoming his slaves, and his specially design constitution will ensure that like we will remain slaves forever. This may sound outrageous to you. Like Willie Lynch, Ralph has already divided the nation, he has put colleagues against colleagues, families at odds with each other, neighbors at social and political war with each other. Ralph is going to get and have his own way by any means necessary.

Is Ralph Gonsalves capable of doing this, does he love power enough to do this. Remember the only way to keep a slave is to keep the slaves divided. Are you willing to become the slave of Ralph E. Gonsalves?

St. Vincent Independence: A Time For Reflection

The 27th of October 2009, Marks a significant mile stone for the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; this date marks thirty years since St. Vincent and the Grenadines obtained political independence. Normally; such significant milestone as thirty years of independence is marked by reminiscing on the positive accomplishment of the people and the country on a whole and serious contemplation of the way forward. Unfortunately; not all such milestones can be considered an accomplishment, for an accomplishment is not measure by mare years of existence.

In my reflection, although it is difficult I will not reflect on the lack of accomplishments such as the fact that our current Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves was the first in the history of this country to have criminal charges (rape and Sexual Assault) brought against him while still in office. I will not go into the fact that many of the country’s males, who once parading about as chest beating, strong men; have been proven and were exposed as greedy opportunist, who were seeking a way to use the trust of the people, to create an environment that was conducive to them raping and plundering the nation they claim to love and are loyal to.

Neither, will I speak of the inconsistency of a Government that invested scarce funds in projects such as a Cross County Road and abandon it after spending millions of the nation’s money not because it was feasible but because they could, or the fact that the Government is rushing head first to build an international airport and is unable to access funding for that financially intensive project, from the international lending agencies that were set up to assisting third world countries embarking on projects such as the international airport, by providing loans and grants.

I will not profane this solemn and patriotic occasion, by betraying my country and address the real state of criminal actives which includes murder and now kidnapping that has taken over this poor little nation and the fact that we have cultivate a generation of young people that do not respect anything or anyone; a generation of youths that willingly and unwillingly participate in the unnecessary termination of each other.

Surely I will not delve into and deal with the heavy handedness of those who are associated with the new discriminatory and flawed document that is the proposed new constitution; a document that will be presented to the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in a referendum on 25th November 2009.

But instead I will demonstrate my patriotism and celebrate the fact that all is not lost. I know all is not yet lost, even though the youths are bombarded by thousand of negative role model on which to pattern their lives; however, there are many individual who has risen above all of the mess that is suffocating our nation and have shone like a beacon beckoning the lost to a better way. St. Vincent and the Grenadines; I present to you a man whose character, sense of commitment, honor, respect and judgment I love and appreciate tremendously; a man who is husband of one wife, a man who have risen and kept himself above the common behaviors that contribute to the decline of strong moral and integrity, it is with honor that I present to you: The Rt. Hon. Arnhem Eustace, the leader of the opposition.

A man, who by choice continue to live a positive life; a life that is laced with compassion, love, caring, and selflessness; a man, who for many years have struggle on behalf of all Vincentian; even those who claim to love St. Vincent and are busy flushing the country down the toilet.

St. Vincent I present to you: Amnesia Richards; a simple young lady, whose youthful ideals are still alive and well; ideals that are on display for her peers and other Vincentians to see. Here is a fresh example, that demonstrate to the youths it is OK to be different, it is OK to hold fast and live by your ideals and there is nothing wrong with being strong even in the face of intimidating political attacks and criticism.

To all the people who are struggling against that which is wrong and in their own little way are trying to make a difference in the land they are committed to; thank you and keep up the good work. To all of the “honest, hardworking” teachers, police officers, Sanitation workers, farmers, civil and public servants who daily give of their best to the people they serve, I say thank you and continue to bless St. Vincent with your integrity and the positivity that you bring to this nation.

It is with an optimistic heart, a belly of hope and faith in the people that I know, as Vincentians, we will redeem ourselves. I am confident that the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in true Vincy Style; will exhibit the strength I know we have buried deep within us, and we will demonstrate such strength by taking the steps that is needed by doing that which is right.

I hope that we will begin our redemption by voting no in the referendum on 25th September 2009. A vote no, is a vote against totalitarian rule; a vote no, is a vote against politicians manipulating the Justice system; a vote no, is a vote against the indiscriminate sexploitation of your children male and female; a vote no, is a vote against a dishonest government; last but not lease a vote no, is a vote against the flawed proposed constitution.

I have the confidence that today, on this day of our thirtieth anniversary of independence, Vincentian are going to reflect on life in St. Vincent and the Grenadines as it is, compare life today with life as it use to be, then we are going to send a loud and clear message that we deserves better than what we are presently handed. For the strength of a people cannot be manipulated by no person, or institution political or otherwise but most of all, it cannot be bought or sold; we are not for sale.

Have We Adopted the Attitudes of Fools?

My people have become a nation of weak, lazy, handout loving, pretenders. Everyday; shamelessly, we live a façade and; shamelessly, we call the lie we live: life. We try to fool everyone but we only succeed in fooling is ourselves. Constantly; we sit back and we watch generation after generation self-destruct. We are successful in Zombiefying the minds of our youths with our laziness, with our culture we mummified their aspirations, and with our negative behavior we embalmed their consciousness, while reinforcing the importance of pretence.

We teach the next generation how to be weak by our examples. For us to lift an objective voice against that which is wrong, have become to strenuous a task for us to perform; to expense the energy to stand up in opposition against poor values, moral, and ethics will cause a dramatic rapture in our coronary artery, which in turn will result in a massive cardiac failure. Yes we choose to be victims to our weakness thus committing ourselves to slavery: self imposed slaves; for to be a slaves to our weakness can only put us in subjection to those who are even weaker than ourselves.

Like rigomortis, laziness has taken over our being, yet our desires to accumulate and the passion of greed are allowed to grow bigger and bigger with each passing seconds and all of our efforts are geared towards keep up with the Jones’. We have reduced ourselves to a people with no motivation, for our weakness have doomed us to failure; our creative juices have curdled and spoiled from a lack of use, for we can no longer be independent in our thoughts, expressions or actions and our will have become brittle form inactivity/inaction, for we have lost all hope. Sadly; in a gamble, we have sold our pride, dignity, integrity and our children to anyone who is able to provide us with the means to keep up with the Jones’: even pedophiles. We lend to our children a permanent trauma as we become mental but more so practical whores of the lowest order.

Now after we have destroy our own mentality and corrupt our values, we can only view the success of other with eyes green with envy, Our faces are disfigured by smirks of jealousy, and bitterness chases youthfulness far, far away from our being. Greed finds room in the weak, laziness that is our mind; for we are always getting; however we are never satisfied. Now we are victims of our foolish conception and for such we have been disfigured and reduced to the little people we are today; people of little integrity, little honesty, little pride but big on pretence. That is all we are, it is all we have, it is all we have become but I hope it is not all we can be.

Is Ralph Gonsalves and his ULP Government Criminals?

Many people both within and without St. Vincent and the Grenadines are of the opinion; that the Ralph Gonsalves Unity Labor Party Government, its friends and supporters are involved in criminal activities, even murder. However, in some case a lack of evidence and a fear of becoming a victim have forced such people into a cocoon of silence. Notwithstanding the danger of becoming a victim, my inquisitive mind sent me probing and I have turned up some very disturbing facts. I will take my time and try to be as clear and concise as I possible can.

We have seen the untimely and violent death of Glen Jackson. It was no secret that Glen Jackson had an abrupt falling out with his political associates: Ralph Gonsalves and the Unity Labor Party; and in his disgust, Glen vowed to reveal to the public, certain information that would have been troubling to Ralph Gonsalves, his political party and his government. However, a few days after Glen Jackson made his intention known, and the day before he was to make his big revelation; Mr. Jackson was found dead in his vehicle. His murderers and their accomplices had taken the time to: ensure his body was clean, his place of death was never discovered, and no forensic evidence could be found: not on his clothes nor in his vehicle where his body was discovered; thus no trail was left linking the killers to Glen Jackson's murder.

I hope it did not surprised you that the police force, an institution that Ralph Gonsalves had turned into his personal poppet show, made an arrest; however, the arrest was not one that was based on the accumulation of evidence but one that was made only to quiet the fears and concerns of the population who had expressed outraged over Glen's death but most importantly, the arrest was designed to take the community’s attention away from the real killers. Although a young man was arrested, charged and stood trial for that crime, we all know that crime was way above the physical ability and financial capability of the defendant, in that; the physical strength that was required to move Jackson body to and from his vehicle to clean the carcass; the place and the cleaning material that was employed to clean Glen's body; all in an efforts to ensure no forensic or other evidence was found. The planning that went into concealing Glen’s place of death (the crime scene). All thses actions were far outside the suspect’s criminal intellect. This murder was one that involved a lot of planning and was masterfully executed. Therefore I must conclude that the individual who was arrested and tried for this matter was only a scape goat.

Then there was Peter Dennie: the Nice Radio staff who met his sudden, unexplained, violent death; another murder that was specific in its detail and execution. A crime and a crime scene that was void of any forensic or other evidence. There are other Vincentian who have met sudden arranged deaths; however, their names and the circumstances of their death will not be mentioned in this article for certain reasons.

There is Que Pasa, A man who is know to and in the drugs world; and a once friend and supporter of Ralph E. Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party. A man who like Glen, had a falling out with his political associates: Ralph E. Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party. Fortunately for Que Pasa, he has an ACE in the hole (information in strategic place which will be release if he is killed) hence the reason he is alive today.

Any time Que Pasa's menaces are able to chump, his ACE; he will be a dead man. I hope Que Pasa understand that every effort is being made to make his ACE in the hole null and void. Que Pasa is a marked man.

There was an incident, which occurred on the island of Dominica, that I always though was fishy, so after I left Bermuda in 2008, I journeyed to Dominica, where I did some snooping around (investigation). While there, I used my purposeful charming personality and I quickly became friends with the average man on the street, doctors, police officers, other professional and quite a few member of Dominica criminal community. When members of the criminal community discovered that I was from "Ganja Country:" St. Vincent and the Grenadines, many saw an opportunity to establish Marijuana connection etc. I spent two months on the Island of Dominica, all in an effort to uncover what was in my mind a mystery.

Everyone knows, that much attention is not paid to the violent death of a man or a woman with a colorful back ground; in other words, one who live a life of crime. Unfortunately such deaths are not given the level of attention they should be given and are often dismissed as the consequence of the life that individual lived.

Now that I have lay the foundation let me develop this discourse and get to the bottom of the matter at hand.

Recently the Press Secretary (PS) to Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves: Hans King was experiencing marital problems. Unfortunately the trauma of the experience troubled the young man tremendously and negatively impacted his personal and social life; as well as, destroyed his ability to function in his professional life. To make the matter worst, the man who wooed his way into the heart and world of the PM press secretary’s wife; was one with a criminal back ground; and he was wanted by the United States Federal Government. With the help of the PS wife, Cecil Boatswain the individual in question, evaded the St. Vincent and the US authorities, but not for long; sometime later Cecil Boatswain was founded murdered on the Island of Dominica.

Because of Boatswain’s pass, his murder went down as a drug deal that went bad. But was it? Was Cecil Boatswain’s Murder the results of a drug deal that went bad? I emphatically say NO! Cecil Boatswain’s murder was retaliation on behalf of Hans King. The knowledge that Boatswain’s had resurface once again affected the Prime Minister's Press secretary ability to function. The comfort he had from knowing that Boatswain was dead (he got what he deserved) disappeared with Boatswain's reemergence (This information was known only by certain police in the intelligence Department and key politician).

I cannot say with certain who was responsible for arranging the hit (contacting and paying for Cecil's death) or where the money for the hit on Cecil Boatswain came from, (It may have been the treasury of St. Vincent for all that I know) but I can say with a degree of certainty that Boatswain’s hit man was a Jamaican, who resides in St. Lucia: Andrew Kirkpatrick Michelle, who was also contracted by the same source in September 2008 to perform another hit, on another unsuspecting victim who was in Dominica in September 2008.

The question I am unable to answer is: who ordered the hit on Cecil Boatswain? Was it ordered by members within the Unity labor Party or members of the criminal drugs community that provides financial and other supports to Ralph Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party? On whose request was the hit ordered? I guess we may never know. But what I know for a fact is, Cecil Boatswain was killed on an order that came from St. Vincent in an effort to secure Hans King Sanity.

Did Prime Minister Ralph E. Gonsalves Said Those Words?

On October 6th 2009, I was reading some of the blogs that is posted on Nice Radio website. There were a particular post that caught my attention and this post dealt with insults and demeaning names the PhD holding Prime Minister of St. Vincent Ralph E. Gonsalves allegedly used to describe Vincentian. Some of the names that Ralph E. Gonsalves allegedly used, range from: “Stinking Dirty Dog,” which was use to describe Bassy Alexander; to Asses, which was used to describe members of the N.D.P; he even use the demeaning and sexually degrading gesture of the middle finger, in an effort to insult a fellow Vincent.

I hope that the information in this document is false and malicious; for I cannot see a head of government in a democratic country, hauling such insults and showing such contempt for his constituent and still holds an elected political office.

I was shocked by some of the classification and terms that this PhD holding Prime Minister, use to describe his constituents. I have long evaluated the man that is Ralph E. Gonselves and had long discovered what other are now beginning to find out; which is Ralph is a scared, insecure little boy in an adult body and he sees everyone in his image.

Let me take some time to examine and evaluate some of the offensive name he hauled at Vincentian and his purpose for doing so. One thing we must always remember is: Ralph Gonsalves tends to see others in his image; in other words, he believes everyone is the same as he is, and the fact that he despised himself, he views everyone as despicable.

Let me prove my argument by developing this concept. I will begin with one of his first remark, but before I tell you what the remark is, I will give the explanation of the remark, explain it in relation to how Gonsalves sees himself and then I will make known the remark.

Would it be fair to say Ralph tries desperately, to present himself as one who is: a “liberal elite,” a socially concerned and highly educated man? Bear in mind that in my description of Ralph Gonsalves I said he despised himself and therefore, he sees everyone as despicable. It was for this reason that he referred to the Journalist as chattering nabobs. "Chattering Nabobs" is a degrading term/name that is use to refer to the politically active, socially concern, highly educated, liberal ileitis of a society. This term was coined by: Frank Jackson. When Ralph saw the intellectuals expressing their social concern in their questions, he saw himself in them and because he despised himself he could not compliment those reflective quality; so the contempt he has for himself was expressed in the insult he hauled at the journalist.

I will like the readers to know that it is a treatable mental condition when an individual is unable to distinguish between what is real and what is a trick of the mind; when one cannot distinguish between himself and others.

When Ralph called Vincentian the lowest common denominator, he once again saw himself in the people, he was referring too. Who in St. Vincent and the Grenadines whether free or institutionalized can be considered lower than the Prime Minister of the country? I will take the opportunity to explain why I made such a statement, and then you can disagree with me if the explanation is not justified.

Ralph Gonsalves did not even possessed what it take to face a jury of his peers, as every Vincentian in that situation is expected to do; when the allegations of rape and sexual assault was brought against him. He did not have the decency or respect for the office of Prime Minister to omit office until the matter was resolved; however, he use the influence of his office to manipulate the Commissioner of Police and in turn cause the victimization of the female police officer who he allegedly raped, forcing her to abandon her search for justice.

Can you go lower than depriving the poor and the weak of justice and in the process making them a victim again and again? I don’t think so. (Read the pyschological effects of rape)

Did Ralph Gonsalves actually called members of the NDP asses? If he did, as Prime Minister he should know that every member within his jurisdiction (country, island, state) is his constituent, even the opposition. He should also know that it is disrespectful for a man that holds such an office and training to refer to his constituent with derogative term and expect their loyalty.

I must say that I cannot see Ralph Gonsalves in his capacity as a politician, a servant of the people or as Prime Minister calling any of his constituent an ass or a “stinking dirty dog” as the list said he called Bassy Alexander. Such behavior would be a new low even for Ralph E. Gonsalves and thus qualify my second point. If he actually did that, he may have very well proven himself to be the lowest common denominator in the entire Caribbean.

Maybe Ralph Gonsalves was onto something when he called Vincentian unlearned, untutored and uncultured. For if Vincent had learn from the first five years of Ralph E. Gonsalves' political leadership as Prime Minister, they would have never given him a second term, if they were cultured, they would never have cast their vote for such a classless person and in the process elevating him into the post of Prime Minister.

The fact that Ralph maybe onto something in the preceding paragraph, do not mean that he did not see himself in the people when he categorized them as uncultured, unlearned and untutored. Well, we can see that Ralph did not learn anything when he did his courses in Political Science, the area in which he holds his PhD.; in his many years of teaching, all of his formal schooling and the years he spent (wasted) as a politician he did not learn or apply the lessons on statesmanship or diplomacy. For all of his action, his name calling which ranged from: calling his constituents asses, stinking dirty dog etc., to the middle finger gesture are signs, that shows he did not learn anything about statesmanship or diplomacy. This type of behaviors are what one will expect from one who is uncultured; a quality that cannot be bought, but can only be instilled by emulating one's parents.

Even Parnell is more cultured than Ralph E. Gonsalves, for when the scandal of Parnell Campbell’s alleged dishonesty was made public, he submitted his resignation, not wanting to bring disrepute to the esteem office of the Attorney General; however, when serious criminal allegations of rape and sexual assault was made against Ralph E. Gonsalves; offences allegedly committed while holding the office Prime Minister, he not only stayed in the office of the Prime Minister, he used the influence of that office to bring undue pressure on the victims and to cause a miscarriage of justice. Well that is Ralph E. Gonsalves for you. Examining the behavior of Ralph E. Gonsalves, is his behavior reflective of the name he allegedly call Bassy Alexander?

Rebellion to Tyrant is Obedience to God (Jehovah)

“Rebellion to tyrant is obedience to God.” This quotation is very true. This serious and profound statement was coined by Benjamin Franklyn in 1776, and was to be the motto on the seal of the United States of America the greatest democracy that exists today. However this quote was later used by Thomas Jefferson on his personal seal.

“Rebellion to tyrant is obedient to God” can the truth in this statement be proven. Let us look to the bible, to see if this statement can be proven.

  • In the book of Genesis, the tyrannical King of Egypt: Pharaoh, enslaved the Israelites and subjected them to much inhumane treatment. It was as a result of Moses obedience to Jehovah and his love for his people that caused Moses to lead a rebellion against Pharaoh in the name of his God: Jehovah and thus he secured the freedom of his people.

  • In the four gospels of the New Testament: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John we saw John the Baptist rebelled against the hypocritical religious leaders and the immoral political leaders of his day; he also exposed their vile practices. This was done to their great disapproval; as a result, John was beheaded for his bold and courageous actions.

  • In Daniel 3: The tyrannical Babylonian King: Neb-u-chad-nez-zar ordered the world to worship him; his likeness was superimposed in the golden statue, the three Hebrew boys servants of Jehovah rebel against the king by not complying with his orders; as a result the boys were thrown into a super heated fiery furnace.

  • In Daniel 6: when King Darius forbid the worship of Jehovah and ordered that all recognition and worship be awarded only unto him. Here we saw Daniel rebelling against the king and his instruction. Daniel continued to file his petition with Jehovah his God and as a result of Daniel’s action, he was thrown into the lion’s den.

Religious leader who hides behind the cliché, God’s will, will be done are nothing more than cowards. Jehovah bestowed the responsibility on us to ensure that his will is done on earth and when such is beyond human ability he assured us he will step in and take care of business.

Now let us take a look at some example that most conscionable human were in supports of; examples which occurred in the distant and recent pass:

  • The mothers and fathers of emancipation who rebelled against the wicked and the then legal system of slavery and secured the freedom of the black slaves. Their rebellion resulted in the lost of millions of life over hundreds of years.

  • Martin Luther King: Martin led a rebellion against the tyrannical system of segregation in America; a system which taught: black people are inferior and they were not human and members of the black race were treated as such. Dr. King’s actions were the catalyst that secured the rights of African American to live in America free and to be treated as a people who are equal. Martin Luther King paid the ultimate price for his people: death.

  • Mahatma Gandhi: Gandhi was one who recognized the tyranny of the colonial government that occupied his country; and his heart could not bore the exploitation of his people. Thus Gandhi the Indian “spiritual leader” rebelled and inspired his people to rebel against the colonial tyrant. Gandhi’s action was the vehicle that propelled India to secure her independence. Mahatma Gandhi also suffered the ultimate price for his people: death.
  • Nelson Mandela: Mandela the South African liberator who rebelled against the tyrannical system of apartheid and secured freedom for his people and ensured that his country became an unconditional self-governing nation, free of the prejudices that cause the exploitation and un-necessary death of millions of innocent black people. Nelson Mandela’s actions caused him to lost 27 youthful years of his life sitting in a prison cell for a cause he believed in; and a cause he knew was right.

One thing I know for sure and that is; if anyone asked these men if the suffering they undertook for their cause was worth it. They will answer with pride and let you know they will do it again if they are needed.

If from the examples provided above, we agree that rebellion to tyrant is indeed obedience to God, then obedience to tyrant is rebellion to God. It is time that people who have tyrant in their lives, such as a bosses, a political leader etc. to get up and rebel against any such tyrant that bully them. When we rebel we must expect retaliation from the tyrant in the same way John the Baptist, Daniel, the three Hebrew boys, Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela suffered; hence we must be prepare to suffer at the hand of a tyrant. But when all is said and done, we will experience a quality of life that will be better, richer and more rewarding; so much so, that we will ask ourselves why didn’t I rebelled sooner.

We must always remember that “a tyrant will always find pretext for his tyranny and it is useless for the innocent to try to reason to get justice when the oppressor intend to be unjust.”

All these men knew exactly what Jehovah expected of them and what was his desire for his people. They also knew that Jehovah has no hands or voice but there (our) hands and voices. What is Jehovah’s will for his people? The American Declaration of Independence out lined the answer to this question perfectly. “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.” If there is a person or group who act against the principles out lined in the quote in any way may be a tyrant.

  1. If you or another are treated by anyone or a group as if you or the other is not created equal to them.
  2. If you or another are deprived of your rights to live.
  3. If you or another had your liberty to express themselves freely etc. taken away.
  4. Or who make living condition social and otherwise so unhealthy that it is almost impossible to enjoy even the pursuit of and attainment of happiness.

Let us take a look at another part of the Declaration of Independence of the United States of America “whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government.” In other words any time a government is corrupt, and or is unable to provide the rights as outlined above, in such cases, it is the rights of the people to alter or abolish that government and institute new government. This is very powerful counsel coming from the fathers of democracy.

I will end with these two un-dissected quotation: Rebellion to Tyrants is Obedience to God"

"We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness. . . whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive to these Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness."

How Far Were You Willing To Go?

At times individuals are forced to wonder, how far their adversaries would be willing to go in order to win a bottle when egos clashes. When all is said and done, would it have made me a better person if I win the little cat fight that we often get entangled in. It is a different thing when an individual is taking a stand against an ill, or standing up for someone who are too weak to stand for themselves.

I use this blog and other forum to expose the imposed hardship I experienced while I was in Bermuda. I suffered many injustices, stress, and other unwarranted hardship at the hands of two of my country men and Commissioner of Police George Jackson and Superintendent of Police Randolph Liverpool as well as Mike Jackman. all my troubles came because I stood up against evil and launched a campaign to have Ralph E. Gonsalves arrested and charged for the allegation of Rape and sexual assault of one of my ex-colleague: female Police Constable (who abundant her quest for justice and walked away due to the stresses that was imposed on her) and later the allegation brought by a young Vincentian human rights lawyer who resides in Canada; both of whom will remain nameless for obvious reasons.

There were some interesting activities that occurred behind the scenes that I have never spoken about. These experiences only seek to show that when certain character type (people) think you are down, they develop the tendency and desire to participate in the demise of the victim. I was not surprised when one of my Vincentian brothers in the Bermuda Police Service knowingly became a tool of my adversary. This person’s conspiratorial action will shock you to the core.

Each time it was made public that Ralph Gonsalves had a death threat made against his life, a particular Vincentian police officer who is policing in Bermuda will come to my apartment outfitted with recording equipment, all in an effort to entrap me in either confessing to him of plotting or making threats against Ralph Gonsalves’ life. At times my fellow countrymen will do so in the presence of certain people who are willing to present even a slip of my tongue as evidence in a court of law.

You may ask yourself or attempt to ask me, why my fellow country man will do such a thing. I will attempt to outline his reasons.

It is important to know that he had agreed to be a tool of “The Friends of Ralph Gonsalves and a foe of Allan Palmer. Firstly the Bermuda police authority did not have any just reason for my suspension and thus my suspension was a direct violation of my contract, my human and constitutional rights as well as the international labor laws. The police authorities were afraid that I was going to sue if I was reinstated. They also had promised Gonsalves that they will stop my campaign against him; but most of all they not count on me making such a noise; they though I would have roll over and play dead like the hundreds of other they exploited who were blinded by the money or were to weak to fight back. The fact that my campaign against Ralph Gonsalves did not stop despite threats from George Jackson the Commissioner of Police, who threaten to take action against me if I do not desist from calling into the radio programs and writing in the News paper in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as Jackson called termed it “saying nasty thing against Mr. Gonsalves.” I informed George Jackson in the presence of Now Assistance Commissioner of Police Jackman; that he cannot instruct me not to participate in the affairs of my country.

How Far were they willing to go?

In Bermuda there is a Conspiracy charge that is widely used; it does not take much to prove that you have conspired to commit a criminal offence. It was their intention for the Friends of Ralph Gonsalves to gather evidence against me and charge me for conspiring to kill Ralph Gonsalves.

Did you notice that there were always vague reports of threats made against Ralph Gonsalves’ life, and there was never specific information associated with the threats? Were the threats made via telephone email or threats made via the postal system? Asked yourself why it is, that the threats against Ralph’s life had suddenly stopped. No one was arrested, no one was taken to court and no one was convicted for any offence related to the threats that were made against the life of the Head of Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Is it that the person(s) who were making the threats no longer has an interest in the death of Ralph Gonsalves.

In this technologically advance world, even a phone call made from a barred telephone, be it domestic, satellite or cellular phone can be easily tracked and the same with an email communication. It may be harder to trace/track communication that was made via the postal service system (a letter) but not impossible. Such communication can be tracked to a specific location narrowing the search to a particular post office, postal facility or postal receptacle most of which are surveyed by hi-tech electronic surveillance system.

Threat made via the telecommunication system or email can be easily detected. If the powers that be receive a threat against a head of state or head of Government, if the authorities have reason to take such threats seriously, then the source of the threats can be easily detected. However it is not so easy to detect the sender a threat laced mails when such was sent via the postal service system. We have examples of the trouble P John found himself in some years ago, when the election gimmick he undertook behind the guise of anonymity, he circulated a document that was damaging to Ralph Gonsalves and his Unity Labor Party via the internet. He was quickly discovered and was forced to make a public apology in order to avoid the consequences of a lawsuit.

Now, was these threats against Ralph Gonsalves’ life that was released to the press; were they just a part of the well laid plans that were coordinated to entrapped and have me charge for conspiracy to commit murder; the victim being the Prime Minister of St. Vincent: Ralph Gonsalves.

Could you imagine how this would have affected my life if I was so even charged and so convicted of conspiracy to murdering of a head of government? But Jehovah is good and has been good to me.

This plot failed in the same way the plot the Bermuda Police Authority also arranged for my downfall, when they use the beautiful young lady, to try and pressure me into giving her basic information about herself from the police system failed. I love women, but I know where to draw the line.

The big question that I am yet to answer is: how far did this plot went? Was it just a plot that found its origin, execution, failure and thus was just limited to the friends of Ralph Gonsalves in Bermuda or did it stretched across the sea to the office of Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves? And if so what was his role and how deep was he involved? What is in the dark will soon come to the light.

Other questions that just came to mind are: how far were you all willing to go? Was the imprisonment of an innocent man been enough to satisfy your egos and your crave to do evil?

To my brother who join the ranks of the evil and whose efforts were targeted to my downfall and my imprisonment just remember what goes around comes around.

Three Cheers for Colin Williams.

After many months of public outcries, after all of the efforts that was made by Kay Bacchus Gill and the human rights Association; as well as the efforts of Arnhim Eustace in his capacity as private citizen, community leader and political leader of the parliamentary opposition; about the ill-treatment the community receives at the hands of members of the nation’s police force, we saw four police officers being charged for offences resulting from allegations of an assault on a fellow citizen. Such assault occurred whilst the officers were operating in the line of duty; ironically there duty is to protect and serve every member of the community.
The charges were laid after the Commissioner of Police was instructed by the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP) to investigate the matter. It was said that the Commissioner of Police drag his feet for many months on what was to be a simple investigation. Yet, after taking more than the expected amount of time he presented a piece of work that was of a substandard quality, so much so that the Director of public prosecution had to inform the Commissioner how to conduct the investigation and give him detail instructions as to; what to do and when to do it.
I am not surprised that Miller was/is unable to distinguish a flawed investigation when one is presented to him. I doubt he is capable of recognizing his own reflection if he saw it in the mirror. We all know that Miller is not a very bright man; that is, unless he is down on his knees awaiting Gonsalves’ instructions.
I guess Colin Williams is basking in the glory of his accomplishment that was derived from his action. Now he is a folk hero, the one who stepped up to the plate and took the valiant actions that was needed. But is Colin Williams a hero or just a zero? Was Williams’ actions against the four police officers (one of whom the charges were dropped) an act of courage or one of a weak man imposing himself on even weaker people in an effort to appear to be strong? Don't get me wrong, I am not writing in defence of the police officers; but I am only seeking to put on exhibition the hypocrisy that exist here.
We all know that the office of the DPP is an independent office, in this office the DPP and his staff has but only one boss, which is the law of the land; and it is only the law that should guide them in their quest to ensure that Justice is done on behalf of the community.
However just over a year ago, a female police officer brought an allegation against Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves, She claimed that he (Ralph) raped her while imposing on her his unwanted sexual touches thus violating her body. This was when Colin Williams DPP should have proven himself to be strong and a man, but he (DPP Colin Williams) was not concern about the crown’s case, instead he put all of his energies into fighting the case for the defense, who just happened to be Ralph E. Gonsalves the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
Colin, why didn’t you ensure that the case the female police officer brought against your buddy Ralph Gonsalves was so investigated? Are you a DPP who only ensure that justice is done when the poor and the weak will be at the receiving end of Justice System or is there one justice for offences committed by Ralph E. Gonsalves and another justice for the rest of St. Vincent and the Grenadines? Let us for argument sake say, there are/were new allegation brought against Ralph E. Gonsalves are you going to pursue such allegations in the same manner you pursued the four police officers? are you going to ensuring that the reports against Ralph E. Gonsalves, is properly entertained, investigated, charges preferred and a preliminary investigation (PI) decides if there is enough evidence to have a trial?
Everyone knows that Colin Williams is not strong enough to do what is right regardless. We all know that if such a thing is to happen again, the DPP will be down on your knees puckering up your lips to do only God knows what for and to Ralph.
It is open season on police officers in St. Vincent, when you are the victim you are made a victim again (like the female police officer), and when you are wrong you get the same treatment. My police brothers are operating in a no win situation for when they are wrong they are wrong and when they are right they are still wrong; it is so sad; for they are victims of their loyalty.

St. Vincent and the Grenadines Constitution: A Closer Look

The Constitution or the supreme law of any nation is a body of laws that should be instituted by the people to meet specific needs. Some of the more pertinent requirement is to safeguard the needs and rights of the people of that generation and future generations from certain ills, and to ensure that an acceptable way of life is preserved while securing the following:
Guard against injustice in its widest from.

2. protect societal values, morals and norms

3. Guard against Anarchy of all kind.

4. to ensure the rule of law prevails and it is actually blind,

5. To provide a justice system that is free from corruption, as well as ensure that justice is free, fair and available to all.

6. And to ensure that the systems are in place to preserved peace, foster goodwill and ensure the wellbeing of those that dwell in that land.
The enacting or the revision of a nation’s constitution is not an assignment that should be taken lightly; neither is it a task that should be undertaken by selfish men, with egoistic personalities, who lack strength and wisdom. For such a critical endeavor can have far-reaching consequences on the people of the day and on future generation if prudence, wisdom and good judgment are not exercised.
It is no secret that I do not trust Ralph Gonsalves: the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines or any of his actions. So when I heard that he was going to undertake the awesome responsibility of overseeing a constitutional review, I took that news with a pinch of salt, tremendous worry, apprehension and fear. This along with the fact that everyone knows that anyone Ralph Gonsalves hand pick and who later receives the rubber stamp of approval from his cabinet is either a stooge or a puppet. One who is willing to Jump, hop or skip at his command.
We have seen this in the behavior and example of the following:
1. Colin Williams the Director of Public Prosecution in St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Colin was a young man with lot of positive potential who had failed to realize his potential.

2. We also have the example of Keith Miller the Commissioner of Police in St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Keith is a young man who unfortunately lived up to his true potential.

3. And there is the elder statesman: Mr. Parnell R Campbell QC, who was made to resign his NDP held political portfolio, by Ralph Gonsalves: when he leader of the opposition. By this incident we can conclude that Mr. Campbell integrity can be questioned. In my opinion he is one who should have been wiser; but unfortunately he is one who has become giddy from going full political circle on to many occasion, one whose inconsistency have caused him to become so intoxicated that he cannot serve no objective purpose.
It is for these reasons that I have been going through the document that is titled “The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Constitution act 2009.” As a result, my scrutinizing eyes have picked up the following discrepancies.
I was of the opinion that the constitutional review and the Commission that was to undertake that review had an objective of ensuring that the Constitution of St. Vincent and the Grenadines kept up with the changing times, legal changes, and international advancements. However section 14 (1) of the preamble makes provision to replace the Governor General with a president. This section had therefore convinced me that; the constitution review which was ordered by Ralph Gonsalves Government was not only to bring the nation’s supreme law up to date with local, legal and international changes; but it was and is intended to equip St. Vincent and the Grenadines for the transition from an independent State to a republic. Am I the only person who was not aware that, this was the expressed intention of the constitution review or is Ralph Gonsalves and his government trying to put one over on us (Vincentian)?
I also find it strange that according to the preamble, section 6 (2) of the soon to be instituted President will have a tree years grace period to change “any” existing law that he sees fit, by publishing such in the official gazette. What is unfortunate is this part of the constitution did not specify which type of laws the president has the power to change, alter or amend. Here we have a situation where one man has the power and authority to bypass parliamentary procedures and amend any portion or body of laws he feels like; depriving the people who were elected for that purpose the opportunity to function in their capacity to draft, prepare and present amendments to bad laws to the house. This is the perfect way of sneaking a piece of no-good law onto the people, (selling them into slavery) and thus creating an unstable political and social environment. Such Wily Nelly method of changing, and or amending any portion or body of law, presents the perfect opportunity for unscrupulous men to act in their own interest or in the interest of a group etc. and sell the people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to the highest bidder. In such cases the highest bidder is often the head of government who is obsessed with power; or some multimillionaire from a distance shore.
Another issue I am going to address in this discourse is one which aroused my suspicions. I am very suspicious of the reason why Chapter 6, section 69 (1) (a) is so wide. This section opens up the opportunity for people with duel or more citizenship to hold elected office in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Now let us for argument sake conclude that such a person is elected or appointed to one of the political offices in the St. Vincent House of Parliament and after taking such office, that individual mess with our country’s finances and steal the little money we don’t have. Then that individual can run off to anyone of the countries they are citizen of and enjoy the good life.
In my opinion this is the Prime Minister’s way of ensuring that his son Camillo Gonsalves who is a citizen of three countries, St. Vincent the country he is least loyal to, has a secured political career in S.VG; and so this part of our constitution is dedicated to Camillo Gonsalves. I cannot see the sense in imbedding such into the constitution of St. Vincent and the Grenadines; this can and will have serious implication in the present as well as the future. It is a sad thing that we are not mature enough to think of the future; unfortunately we can only see in the now and how it is going to benefit me.
Today we are living in an era of sophisticated technological advancement, an era where there has been unbelievable advancement in teaching and teaching aids. Now people with disabilities after they have received the correct training to offset their disability; they have been attending IV league schools, attaining note worthy education advancements, have excelled in various fields, (holders of degrees) functions in many capacities and in many instances they have even excel beyond their able body colleagues. Yet we see Chapter 6, section 68 of the new and soon to be enacted constitution discriminates against people with disabilities.
Isn’t it a shameful that in such an era like this one, the new Constitution of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has discriminatory clauses? And isn’t it embarrassing that the blind, the hearing impaired and the physical disable are the ones who are subject to such discriminations.
Sec. 68 (1) “A person shall be qualify to be elected or selected to be a representative if, and shall not be so qualify to be so elected or selective unless he (the term “he” here is sexist and therefore automatically disqualifies females)
(d) is able to speak (this disqualify the person who is unable to speak no matter their academic qualification and competences there are so many intellectuals that cannot speak) and, unless incapacitated by blindness (people with the learning and ability of New York City Governor David Paterson is excluded) or other physical cause (this automatically disqualify People with the ability and tenacity of four term US president Franklin Delano Roosevelt FDR and would have automatically disqualify Larry Bascombe if he was alive), to read the English language with a degree of proficiency sufficient to allow him to take an active part in the proceedings of the national assemble.
This in its-self is indeed a primitive step which will take St. Vincent and the Grenadines in the wrong direction. Can you believe the audacity of the government and people of St. Vincent and the Grenadines to discriminate against people with physical or other impediment? Not only in though and actions; but such evil, discriminatory and insensitive biases will soon be legally enforced; as such are embedded into the supreme law of St. Vincent, are you kidding me?
In my opinion there are too many ambiguities in the constitution as it stands. I am of the opinion that cobweb has taken over the legal minds that was entrusted with such an important responsibility. I cannot wait to read the final draft.

Ralph Gonsalves, You are Not Qualify to Address Such Topics

When Barrack Obama the current president of the United States of America speaks; his peers, colleagues, supporters and his detractors are left in awe, holding onto every word that falls from his lips. Barrack Obama does not possess any exceptional quality or qualities that make his hearers float on his words, he does not use a conglomeration of sophisticated words in order to impress his hearers, he do not try to appear as one who is learnt and he does not have the alluring voice of an angel: a voice that is laced with a mesmerizing sensation that enthrall the undivided attention of his hearers.
Many people have been studding the content of Barrack Obama’s speeches. They have been studding his speech pattern and all of the other intricacy of his presentation; however they are still unable to detect what give him the ability to captivate his audience the way he does. Unfortunately what they are looking for cannot be found in his speeches, his words or his mannerism. For Barrack Obama’s alluring power is not in what he says or how he says it, as fate would have it, it is found in the integrity that makes up his character. There is something about a strong character that lends power to a person’s appearance, their word (spoken and written) and their actions; such characteristics that cannot be replicated or imitated.
Lately, many people with mess up character have been trying to create their own Obama moment, one such person is Prime Minister Ralph Gonslaves. He goes about making speeches, not because such speeches are needed but in order to fluff his ego, to gain recognition and respect within the region. His objectives as transparent as they are, drives him to address topics he is not qualify to deal with; in doing so he try to speaks on matters of human ills, he fruitlessly try to lend words of motivations to people who need to be inspired and he often fail to bring light of hope to the hopeless. Unfortunately Gonsalves is a man whose character has been so defiled that he would better serve the members of his species by maintaining an eternal silence. This is so for reason I will develop as I continue in this discourse.
Each time Gonsalves opens his mouth to speak, instead of blessing he blights and weary the ears of his hearers, his words are perfect representation of a paradox: his lifestyle are in total disharmony with his words, words which he (Ralph) is unable to trust.
Recently I was exposed to a speech Ralph Gonsalves made on the Isle of spice: Grenada. In his effort to create an Obama moment he created yet another paradoxical moment. He caution his hearers not to be come entrapped by learn helplessness, however he neglect to careful examine his words, for we all know that for every instance where an individual is afforded an opportunity to learn, such lesson must be taught by a teacher, although many lesson are though by the traditional teachers (human); very often our teachers are nature and or even circumstances which create learning moments or experiences.
He also asked his hearers not to adopting a defeatist attitude or personality or as he called it adopting the principal doctrine of “it cannot be done.” The question that must be answered and is on everyone’s mind is: Does Ralph Gonsalves qualify to use such words or to make such speeches? These are questions each person must answer for them self. I challenge Ralph to justifiable answer these question publicly.
Daily Ralph imposed such lessons and he persuasively taught Vincentian the most binding lesson in helplessness; while also teaching the populace that it cannot be done. He was instrumental in creating the circumstances that cause each of us to learn from our experiences, how to be helpless. Ralph Gonslaves was/is the ideal teacher on helplessness and hopelessness. He not only taught it, he ensures that such lessons were superimposed on the psyche of Vincentian. Such imposed teaching may very well leave a mental impression on the people and cause them to develop mental complexes that may very well affect member of that community for generations to come.
He made the masses helpless when he promoted incompetent people into post they are incapable of handling, causing them to exist in an environment of mental helplessness. He is responsible for the state of bewilderment Vincentian now exist in, as they helplessly and hopelessly wait for service promised, and for their life to improve; regrettably there is no visible or imaginary means of such improvement. This can be seen in the poor health care system that exists in the country, the lack of employment that existed even before the global recession. There is also the poor personal example he set for the people as a role model: he taught decent citizen that it is ok to disregard their decency to get what they want; but more so the rapid increase in reported police brutality only aids in compounding such helplessness.
Ralph Gonsalves is the principal instigator and the perfect teacher of the principal doctrine of learnt helplessness which is: “It cannot be done.” He even went as far as to teach his parliamentary colleagues and those whom he surround himself with, that they are incapable of doing anything: this is exhibited in the way he allows his ego to micro manage every aspect of the government and the lives of those around him. He encourages people not to believe and to develop the mind set that their dreams can and will come through; he used his office to propagated that there is no place in his government, his life and his world for integrity, hard work and honorable motive, which are the driving force of success. Helplessness is what happens when the driving force of success is taken away. Unfortunately individuals who exhibit such independent, ethic and are hard workers are victimized.
We have seen so-called honorable men who were once champions of Justice and truth, when caught in the grasp of Ralph’s, they broke under his pressure, as a result they trade the virtues that characterizes a strong character for life of ease, (I will not unmask such by making a public record of their names) while the real men whose values, principles and ethics are far above that which can be traded like a common commodity, are made to undergo hardship. Such virtue and valiant actions must have something more than intrinsic value.
“It cannot be done:” in the courts of Ralph Gonsalves victims are beaten into submission, just like the female police officer and the Canadian human rights lawyers whose allegation of rape and sexual assault were hurriedly swept under the rug by weak men in powerful positions; but an un-normal bulge in the rug still remain, revealing the hidden mess that is yet to be properly taken care of. I must say that all of the wheeling and dealing will not detour Lady Justice, for she will not be deprived of her opportunity to present her public performance in poetic wonderment, a performance she uncomplainingly await to deliver: poetic Justice.
It was only a matter of days after Ralph Gonsalves try to create his Obama Moment by admonishing the people of the Caribbean not to embrace “learnt helplessness,” and not to buy into its principal doctrine which is “It cannot be done.” Here is a case where the great counselor Ralph Gonsalves, forget that example is still the greatest teacher, he fail to follow his own counsel and use the opportunity to teach his student (including himself) a valuable lesson. Instead, in a display of self taught helplessness, he burst into a tangent of childish rage pointing his finger at his CARICOM neighbor: Barbados, threatened not to play with the other members of CARICOM if Barbados do not confirm to his code of conducting the affairs of their nation. Did Vincentian elected a spoilt child to be their political leader?
This is what was meant when Ralph speak of learn helplessness and buying into its principal doctrine of “it cannot be done. Couldn’t Ralph Gonsalves the nation’s lead statesman and chief diplomat find some diplomatic avenue of addressing the concerns of Vincentian as it relates to the immigration differences between both countries? Or is he frustrated that he no longer holds the influence and respect he once held among his CARICOM colleagues.

PM Gonsalves Actions Reason to Avoid Becoming Indipendant Nation

In the 1900, but more so in the 1960s and the 70s, many of the British Caribbean colony, was encompass with a revival of black consciousness; this consciousness came rapped in many packages, know by different names and evoked a subtle disdain for the Country which held their sovereignty. The men and women in this era, who were fresh from academia, became impatient with the imperialist/monarchical system; which was viewed with contemptuous eyes. A system whose people manipulated the law to justify slavery and the other segregated system under which our Negro fore parent suffered the indignity of contemptuous treatment and the belief that foster an inferiority complex among the Negroes people.

Such treatments were carefully documented; such care that ensure the record was intentionally inked in err; omitting socially inhumane treatment for several reasons.

  • To hide their wicked deeds from their neighbors and friends.

  • To ensure that the conscience of history look of them favorable.

  • And to quiet the conscience of their Christian beneficiary who did not care for the gruesome detail that accompanied the acquisition of their wealth.
This new conscious awakening inspired the intellectuals of that era, to inform and recruit the populace, later secure the mandate to pursue and break allegiance with the mother country: England.

It was the views that these countries (colonies) that they did not need the mother-country (England) from whom their economical growth and stability was embedded. The countries economic stability and safety were fixed in the protective economic loyalty that the mother country held for her estrange colonies. Many people argued that it was the least England could do for benefiting form and building a mighty empire on the blood, sweat and tears of our people.

Before Economic Globalization most of the countries that sought and gain independence such as Guyana, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago had their economies took off and subsequently collapsed as a results of poor administration, political corruption, and the exploitation of savvy, ruthless international businesses community; that out talked, out thought and out maneuvered the inexperience and naive politicians. Unfortunately this still occurs today.

After globalization and such proposals like the free trade initiative summon the collapse of the economies of the other Caribbean states. The estrange mother country had to revoke and pass legislations that provided a level plain field to accommodate international trade. This new situation forced the once protected former colonies to compete on the open market with companies that were capable of financing elaborate operation than they can; thus making it possible for the former colonies to effectively compete in such an environment. The financial viable companies out produced and out sell the smaller primitive operations of the independent countries.

These states never understood how dependent they were on the countries that held their sovereignty, until economic globalization and the international free trade agreement took away a protection they would have maintained if they remained colonies.

It is no secret that those countries that remained under the supervisory hand of Great Brittan are in a better economical position than all of the countries that chose to become independent states. It is important to note that England do not have a direct hand in the day to day economic affairs of these countries; yet they are able to sustain a healthy economy and thus in most case ensure a high standard of living for their people.

Today there are many of these territories with ambitious men who possess burning, inflated, testosterone compressed ego; that feed that fetish to be a part of positive history and are hell bent on trusting independence onto the people who they were elected to serve. I hope that these politicians take a look at the current state of their sister Caribbean independent countries. It is the wise that learn from the error of others. There is also a wise old adage that said if it is not broken don’t fix it.

Let us take a critical look of some of the plagues of independence and you may conclude which you want for future generations. In most oversea Territories are endowed with a governor that possesses the power to take certain decision that are in the interest of the member of the territory. These representative does not possess unquestionable powers. For if he or she acts inappropriately, that individual can be recalled and dealt with or can be made to face charges if his inappropriate actions was proven to be criminal.

Unlike that of a leader of a sovereign (independent) state like St. Vincent and the Grenadines who’s Prime Minister thinks and behaves like one with ultimate power. A man of very little integrity, one who use indecent gesture (Show the middle finger) at members of his community (his constituent) in public and fail to apologize, one who a female police officer brought allegations of Rape and Sexual Assault against, one whom a young Human Rights Lawyer brought allegations of Sexual Assault against. Unfortunately for these two valiant females Ralph Gonsalves Prime Minister of St. Vincent used his office of Prime Minister to manipulate the criminal justice system to evade prosecution. It was also unfortunate for there were other female within St. Vincent and the Grenadines who claimed they were victims of Ralph Gonsalves sexual exploits there were cases that were filed and later withdrawn due to the press conference that threaten to sue anyone who try to implicate him in any such allegations.

Let us say that the female police officer, the young lawyer and the other victims who became afraid of the intimidation of the Ralph E Gonsalves the Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines were true, what does this mean?

If you don’t know what it meant and still mean, I will endeavor to impart with my clairvoyant intellect and bring you up to date. It means that the victims were not only stripped and raped of their sexual treasure, the sanctity of their body were violated, and each time they were deprived of Justice (the ability to get a lawful hearing according to the laws of the land and the legal system) they are raped anew, each time the boastful no moral Prime Minister of St. Vincent and the Grenadines appear in public and erroneously exhibit his arrogance they are raped again.

Now think is this the type of country you want for your people, is this the system of unaccountability from a politician who has within his power the resources of the states (though scarce they may be) to illegally inject such into his political campaign to purchase constituent loyalty, rig election, intimidate constituent, etc.

It was as a result of the Canadian human Rights lawyer persistent and with her fearless fight that cause her to give this interview to the local press, (Click here to hear the interview)

Always remember when you beat a helpless dog one day he may just bite back and he may just have rabies. Lets see who is going to get angry because of this article and what action they are going to take.

Where is Justice

After reading the story on the Caribbean New News, which carried the caption “Sacked Vincentian Lawyers Puzzled over Firing” my thoughts ran even wilder that Jane and Tarzan in their wildest moment of passion put together. But these new developments have a foul smell emanating from them. I hope it is just my oversensitive sense of smell. I also hope it is not a case where this young lady is converting from a victim to a prostitute. I will develop this thought in another letter if I am allowed to do so. I hope it is just a case where the delay in justice has caused the alleged victim to rethink her approach, and is now going to try something new.

It is said that justice delayed is justice denied; but what is justice? Justice is the impartial distribution of treatment or the decision to take an action that is morally right, based on ethics, rationality, law, fairness and equality. Because no one can honestly tell whether individuals involved in a dispute are being truthful or not, civilised societies have instituted a system of justice, that was designed to try and discern right from wrong and to administer justice based on its findings. Although the justice system is not a perfect system, it is a fairly reliable system; but most of all it is the only one there is.

This system is so designed not to discriminate against anyone; it was not meant or designed for the poor unfortunate people, and it was not designed to give people a free pass depending on your social, financial of other status. It was meant to treat everyone as equals. If one ran afoul of the law, that individual or individuals are expected to face the consequences of their action but only if it is/was borne out or proven that they have without lawful excuse or willfully violated an individual’s rights.

In every situation that requires the justice system’s intervention, there will be satisfied and dissatisfied people; but what makes our justice system special is not whether an individual is guilty or not guilty (not guilty does not mean innocence), it is the fact that they have allowed the system of justice to follow its natural course. It is all about equity, and the principle that what is good for one is good for all.

I can remember one of my father’s signs, which read, “The arms of the law stretch into the cottage of the poor as well as the castle of the rich.” The unfortunate thing is the poor seem to live in the valley where the law operates and the rich live on the hills where they can look down on society’s less fortunate. Hence the reason the arms of the law always seem to fall short and justice is always incomplete when society’s elite are the offenders; but when they are offended, justice comes swiftly and it is sure.

When the elite of the society have to face the not so sweet music of the justice system, these are the times when people’s integrity seems to have a price tag and a sign which reads, integrity for sale the highest bidder gets the favour.

St Vincent is now lying in the ruins of corruption. The people (Vincentian) who were once considered the warmest and the friendliest people on earth have lost their integrity, their hospitality and their love. Now we have become a “we will do anything if the price is right” people. Our Carib forefathers have probably regretted giving this people and the dwelling such a distinguished name laced with blessings as Hairouna, which means home of the blessed, to Maroona, which means abandon or leave behind. Because that is what we as Vincentians have done; we have marooned our values, our pride, our ethics, wisdom, all hope but most of all we have marooned our people.

The worst thing is the simple fact that the John the Baptists, the Jonahs and the Elijahs: the men of God that operate in St Vincent have forsaken the instruction of the lord Jesus Christ; men of God who fear the authority of powerless, earthly mortals but spit into the face of the all powerful Immortal God.

It is no wonder that our youth are behaving like mad people and valueless beasts, craving after everything that is negative, and practicing exactly what we have taught them. We are excellent teacher of the negative. Now there is no turning back for Vincy (new name Maroona)

Is Ralph Gonsalves A Failure

Yesterday I listened to the "I had a dream" speech, which began the obliteration of the USA segregated society. This speech was delivered under tremendous pressure by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. iconic human/civil rights leader who was assassinated.
........................................................................................................................................................................
Honored by the opportunity to share in such a special occasion I immediately had a patriotic review, my subtle thought revealed the strange triviality of my people mentality. ........................................
........................................................................................................................................................................
Many who know the manipulative man Ralph Gonsalves, they would be aware that he is a failure who suffers from an over heightened sense of nauseating insecurity and criticism is considered a personal attack.
.........................................................................................................................................................................
For the record and for posterity sake lets now take a brief look at the man and his lack of successes. This is the same smooth talking individual who incidentally, successfully & convincingly manipulated Vincentian into letting him take possession of the administration of the country's affairs.
.........................................................................................................................................................................
As a father and husband he had failed to protect his family from the scandals that destroy the self-esteem and encouraged the insecurity of those he is obligated to love and protect: remembering that within every rumor or allegation there is some truth. As a politician he set and created the trend of lawlessness (that today plagues St. Vincent today) when he mobilized and encouraged the gullible leaders of the various trade unions to consciously take part in unlawfully/lawless activities: which put him in the position to take governance by default. Being a poor sport and unable to take a little heckling, he displayed his lack of statesmanship when he showed his middle finger to one of his constituent, and had other fired. .............................................
.........................................................................................................................................................................
As the prime Minister he engaged in policies that facilitated the political divide among the people, embarked on unbeneficial capital projects that satisfied his craze to leave a positive mark on the pages of St. Vincent and West Indian history, and thus putting the country in a deficient economic position. .......................................................................................................................................
.......................................................................................................................................................................
However he was successful in creating an unsafe, economically unstable, socially weak, politically blind, morally challenged, historically shameful, philosophically deprived and culturally bankrupted place for his constituent to dwell in. But what is the most shameful is the fact that he and his elite appointee are totally void of sound, meaningful and applicable ideas and plans to move the country forward yet they greedily hold on to power. ...........................................................
........................................................................................................................................................................
There are many more areas of failure that could be mentioned here but time will not permit me to go into them. It is known that none of us are perfect, but most of us were though and have learned how to be meek in our imperfection, humble in our failure graceful in our success..............
.............................................................................................................
As it is said misery loves company, so in his hate filled jealously, he try to create many more people that has the professional and social personification of himself. So he create an environment to cause successful individuals, businesses and groups to be placed in compromising position that will ensure that the success they has in their grasp are forcefully pried from their bosoms. The latest examples/victims are Douglas DeFreitas, E.G Lynch and Nice Radio. Ralph Gonsalves took what our Vincentian culture considers petty kitchen talk and like a spoilt child he ran crying to the courts complaining of his hurt feelings; he is such a baby. .......................................
.........................................................................................................................................................................
I hope that after baby Ralph omit the post of Prime Minister and the other toddlers that make up the governing ULP is stripped of the responsibility to govern St. Vincent and the Grenadines, an investigative search of the books and into other allegations does not prove otherwise. We know that most people in these office are not totally honest in their dealings and very often will make tremendous sacrifice to create a façade to be presented as they are not. ................................
.....................................................................
To this end I have been trying to come up with a creative plan where I can use my talent so I can contribute to the Save nice radio fund. Now may St. Vincent continue to be the home of God's blessed.
.........................................................................................................................................................................
His law practice in my opinion was a failure endeavor, however he use his eloquence to persuade all of the misguided fact of his brilliance and so convinced and promised the Holder family justice for the death of young Buzzie Holder, who was killed by a police man (incidentally that police officer who later became one of my mentors and was a wonderful and dedicated person); yet he fail to ensure justice in what was to be an easy process.
